PreTangia envisions local printing services as a more direct and grounded way of making. By bringing production closer to where objects are used, this model shortens the distance between design, fabrication, and everyday needs—supporting faster cycles, greater adaptability, and more meaningful connections between people and the things they make.
In the long term, PreTangia is building toward a distributed manufacturing model called Tangent Lab, where digital designs can move fluidly across local production nodes with greater speed, flexibility, and precision. More than a system for making objects, Tangent Lab proposes a new way to think about how making is organized, accessed, and shared.
